Shoeaholics Sale - £39 And Under

Hello! Just thought I'd quickly share with you a few pictures of these gorgeous Kurt Geiger White Carly strapped heels that I received from http://www.shoeaholics.com/. I chose these as I thought that they looked summery and they're perfect for both daytime and nighttime. The chunky heel makes them easy to walk in, and the buckle around the ankle makes sure that your foot won't escape mid-walk! These would look gorgeous with a tan and for £39.00 (they were previously £85.00), they're a complete bargain for a pair of designer shoes!

Check out their website www.shoeaholics.com - you're bound to find a pair that you absolutely love for £39.00 or under! The sale ends Monday 20th!

Packing For Summer: Beach Bag

Bag: Primark
Hat: H&M

This week's topic for the "Summer Blogger Challenge" is "Packing For Summer" so I thought I would do a post on what I tend to take to the beach! I love going to the beach; it's so relaxing and it's lovely when it's nice and warm. Going to the beach is quite a laidback thing, so you don't need to bring loads of makeup (or wear it for that matter!) I usually pack a few bits and bobs to make my beach trip a fun and relaxing one.

Water (obviously...)
No way would I go to the beach without packing some water! Being sat in the sun all day can result in dehydration (which is dangerous! You don't want to end up with sunstroke!) I usually bring a few bottles; you can even bring a cooler to make sure your water stays cold all day!

Sunscreen (a must!)
Another necessity that is just plain safe to have! You need to keep topping up your suncream when you're outdoors, especially at noon when the sun is at its highest point! There's nothing worse than spending the rest of your holiday with sore, burnt skin - you're going to wish you'd used it!

Hand Sanitiser (just because...)
This is me being a bit of a germ freak, but if you've been in the sea and touched god-knows-what on the sand (and especially if you're about to eat) it's nice to have clean hands.

Schwarzkopf Texturising Salt Spray (for creating beach waves!)
I love this spray; it gives your hair texture and holds your style. If you've been in the sea, give your hair a spritz with this and scrunch - you'll have some lovely beach waves!

Sunglasses (so you can stop squinting!)
Big sunglasses are essential for the beach; I like the design of these (they're also slightly cat-eye!)

Lip Balm (lips need hydrating!)
I love this strawberry lip balm from The Body Shop as it's super moisturising and it has an amazing scent! It also gives a gorgeous pink/red tint.

Mirror (vain I know!)
My friend got me this personalised mirror for my birthday and I always carry it in my bag. It's great for whipping out if you have something in your eye (like sand!) I always have something in my eye, so a mirror always comes in handy wherever I go.

Phone (and earphones!)
You may not be able to get signal, but you can still use your phone to take snaps of the view and listen to music. During the journey and on the beach, you can listen to some Summer tunes whilst relaxing - perfect!

Kindle (for reading a bit of John Green)
I know that lots of people like to read on the beach when they're sunbathing, as it gives you something to do! Plus it's a bit of entertainment if you're bored.

Bikini (don't forget a towel too!)
If you tan easily (I unfortunately don't) then bringing a bikini is essential so you can make sure every part of your body has access to the sun (well, nearly every part!) I like going in the sea in my bikini, but just don't forget a towel!

Leave your link down below so I can have a look at your post this week!

Fit For Summer: Wii Style

This week's topic for the "Summer Blogger Challenge" is "Fit For Summer". Because I've already written two posts about the fitness routine that I do and the apps that I use (here and here) I was wondering throughout the week what I could do for this post (without repeating myself). I decided to focus on some Wii games that can help with fitness and get you active, without even leaving the house.

Wii Sports
I'm sure this game comes with the Wii! This has kept my family entertained for hours and it's great exercise (especially the boxing and the tennis!) My grandparents have even played it at Christmas time - it's fun for any age and there's plenty to choose from.

Wii Fit
This used to be one of my favourites! It's really useful if you want to keep track of your weight loss as it tells you your weight when you step onto the board. You can then choose from different muscle exercises, yoga poses and games to play in order to improve your physique (my favourites are the ski jump, the aerobics and the hula hoop!)

Zumba Fitness
I find this game keeps you very active as it involves jumping about and shaking your hips! A belt was included with this, which you put your Wii remote in so you don't have to hold it! There's different dances involving Latin music and over 30 routines to choose from. Zumba is a big thing amongst women, for a reason - it's fun and keeps you fit!

Michael Jackson The Experience
I'm a big fan of Michael Jackson so I was really excited when I got this game. You can dance to a number of his hits, following the routine and earning stars. It's great fun to play at parties and it's a good laugh watching your friends attempt the dance moves!

Just Dance 2 & 4
I loved the second one so much that I had to buy the newest one! When my friends come round, we always end up on this (and they go home knackered) and we have a good laugh! You can go solo, dance together, or battle each other to hits from the past and present. It leaves you breathless and tired (which only means you're improving your fitness each time you play!)

What's your favourite Wii game to play, that keeps you fit?

Leave your links below to your challenge post for this week - I'd love to read!

Summer Makeup Bag Essentials

I'm currently taking part in the Summer Blogger Challenge, which takes place every Tuesday. This week's topic is 'Summer Bag Essentials' so I thought it would be the perfect chance to show you a few beauty bits and bobs that I like to use in Summer.

1. ELF Baked Eyeshadow Palette - California
I love the warm, toasty shades in this palette and I love mixing them up to create a gorgeous eye look. You can wear these shades during the day and on the night time, so this little palette's perfect for taking on holiday! Even though they're not that pigmented (you have to wet your brush to get a bit of the colour) they're ever so shimmery and I find that they brighten up my eyes - I especially love the gold tones!

2. Rimmel BB Cream - Very Light

You may have already read my review on this (which you can find here). I love this BB cream; it's really light on your skin and the SPF 25 obviously comes in handy when you're out in the sun. I find it easy to apply and it blends in really well, so if you know you're going to be a bit sweaty, it might be best to use a BB cream instead of a thick foundation.

3. Collection Bronzing Powder
If you can't get a natural sun-kissed tan (like me) then bronzing powder is the way to go! I like adding this under my cheekbones, around my temple and down my nose and neck to give myself a nice glow.

4. ELF Lip Stain - Heartbreaker
I love wearing this coral shade during the day; it sits on your lips just like a lipstick, but you can also make it look more like a lipgloss by using the other end.

5. No7 Stay Perfect Long-lasting Volume Mascara - Black
This has been my go-to mascara for the past year or so; the main reason I like it is because it's waterproof and sweatproof! It stays on all day without the worry of getting panda eyes.

6. The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Balm
My lips can get very dry, so this is perfect for carrying in my bag (it also smells like strawberry laces, mmm!) I love the subtle tint it gives to my lips.

Road Trip Style

I can't wait until I can drive. The freedom to go wherever I want, whenever I want. Going on long drives with my friends in the Summer and not having to rely on public transport or the use of parents to ferry me and my friends around.

I thought I would do a blog post today as part of a competition hosted by Bloggers' Lounge, who have teamed up with the travel company Round The World Experts to offer a £100 voucher to whoever can come up with the freshest road trip look. So, I thought I'd give it a go! :-)

When I think of a road trip, I think of driving along country roads in the warm sunshine or a typical long American road trip, listening to a CD filled with specially picked songs. Being comfortable is important on a road trip, as you'll be sat in a car for a while - but it also doesn't hurt to be stylish! Crop tops, acid wash denim shorts and playsuits seem like the perfect outfits, especially if you're in the Summer heat for the majority of your trip. Bringing a variety of shorts and skirts (depending on how long you're going for) is really easy, as you can wear them with a variety of different crop tops, vest tops and t-shirts each day.

I've also picked some essentials that will definitely come in handy! Sandals are great to keep your feet cool and they can compliment your outfit - packing some spare boots in your bag will also come in useful if you plan on going for a few days (you may do a lot of exploring!) I've also picked out a floral water bottle, as you're going to need to keep hydrated as it'll be a long drive! I've also picked out a stylish straw hat to keep the sun off your face and stop your parting from getting sunburnt (which always happens to me - there should be a suncream shampoo or something!)

Round The World Experts offer fly drive holidays on their website and you can decide from a variety of different types of transport. If you're deciding to go on a road trip (which is the perfect gap year adventure) you can choose which continent you want to go to. You can hire a car, motorbike or campervan and there's also a trip planner on their website, which helps you pick your own route. You can choose your accommodation on the website too - personally, I'd absolutely love to go with a group of friends, it looks incredible!

Are you going on any road trips this Summer? If so, where?
(Because I'm extremely jealous!)

Wish List: Holiday Shoes

I tend to buy a new pair of flip flops every year, which I'm sure most people do as they seem to wear out pretty quickly after hours of walking and getting them soaked in the sea. It isn't much of a problem though, as they're fairly cheap so easy to afford! Not only am I a big fan of flip flops, but sandals are also really pretty! So I've picked out an array of shoes that I can't resist not sharing with you!

1. Sweet Pea Toe Post Sandals, £26.00 - Oasis
I love the way these flip flops look really simple and elegant, especially with the added flowers on the outer edge, which stand out and make them look really girly. The fact that they're black shows that they'll go with pretty much anything as well, which is always a bonus!

2. Tan Colour Block Ankle Strap Wedges, £17.99 - New Look
I love these and they'd be perfect to wear when going for an evening meal paired with a pretty dress. The coral strap going across the foot adds a bit of colour, perfect for wearing on Summer nights.

3. Tan Double Ankle Strap Plaque T-Bar Sandals, £24.99 - New Look
I love a bit of gold (who doesn't?!) and these would look gorgeous with a maxi dress. These will instantly dress up an outfit and the double straps around the ankle will help actually keep your shoe on, unlike flip flops that have a tendency to fly off if you take a 'vigorous' step!

4. White Leather Look Embellished Twist T-Bar Sandals, £19.99 - New Look
Alternatively to the previous gold plated shoes, these have a silver design which will go with most outfits. I love these type of sandals, as they really draw attention to your shoes. Really pretty - I need these!

5. Leather Strap Sandals, £28.00 - Next
These have a slight gladiator-esque feel to them and they'd look great with a pair of denim shorts. The added extra studs don't make them too plain, which I like as I hate buying a 'boring' shoe -they need something about them!

6. Asymmetric Sandals, £18.00 - Next
Similar to the previous ones, but these are probably the most plain pair that I picked out. However, I really love the colour and you can always paint your toenails to make the shoes appear more 'bright'.

I'm really looking forward to Summer and I can't wait until it's warm enough to be wearing these type of shoes!

What's your favourite Summer shoe? What kind of design is your favourite?

Spring/Summer 2014: Huge H&M Haul

Last weekend, I went into H&M and I couldn't resist stocking up on Spring and Summer clothes - which resulted in feelings of guilt and despair when I got home and realised how much I'd spent (seeing as I hate spending more than a fiver on pretty much anything haha!) But at least I have some new clothes to wear for my holidays and at the end of the day (as they often say on Jeremy Kyle) I don't regret a single thing that I bought! Okay, so here's the result of my overspending...

I'm loving maxi dresses at the moment and I can't wait to start wearing them! They're just so classy and are perfect for days when you don't want to get your legs out. I find maxi dresses a glamourous day time outfit that keep you cool and they also look really feminine. I used to be quite wary of maxi dresses, as they can sometimes look like a bag on me as they don't always hang right because I'm quite skinny! But this one looks surprisingly nice and I would probably spice it up with a statement necklace.
Price: £12.99

I think you always need to have a back-up plan in Summer, especially if you live in the UK like me! The weather is unpredictable, so you never know when you'll have to throw on a long sleeved top or sweatshirt. As soon as I saw this, I knew I had to try it on. It's slightly cropped so you won't be too warm and you could always wear it over a vest top with shorts if the breeze picks up.
Price: £14.99

I wanted a black skirt to wear mainly on a night time with heels or wedges so when I saw this, I picked up a few tops that I thought would go with it too. It's high waisted, so sits just above my belly button and I thought it would look nice with crop tops. It's slightly flared towards the bottom of the skirt and has a bumpy texture to it. I like buying clothes that are versatile, as I can wear it with plenty of other clothes that I own.

Price: £14.99

Stripes just make me think of Spring and Summer and they look great with denim shorts or leggings. I chose this vest as it's quite long, so I could wear it with leggings and it's also quite baggy, which will help keep me cool. I'd probably wear something underneath it, as it's quite see-through but I love how it looks really casual and it's nice to have some vests and t-shirts for when it gets warmer.
Price: £3.99

I love wearing blue as I've been told it brings out my eyes. I love the shade of this shirt and yes, stripes again! The button up design means I could wear it over a vest top and leave it open - plus the pastel blue is really 'in' at the moment!
Price: £12.99

I would wear this top on a night time (as it's quite dressy) with a black bra or bandeau underneath, as it's see-through. This would look nice with the black skirt that I bought above, or over a dress. I love black lace tops, as I think they can look really sophisticated hehe!
Price: £12.99

I wasn't keen when I first saw this dress because of the bright colours, but I decided to try it on anyway. I then began to really like it and I realised it would look nice on holiday if I go out for tea. I could wear this dress during the day or on the night time with wedges - it's not too dressy, so it's perfect for a restaurant!
Price: £7.99

You must have guessed by now that I'm really into floral patterns! This would look great with a denim skirt, shorts or jeans. I love wearing bright colours and patterns during Summer just because it reflects the weather and lifts my mood! Plus, look at the pretty flowers!
Price: £6.99

This skirt sits nicely on the hips (and it actually creates them!) I like the design; the zip on the front and the ripped effect. This looks lovely with the floral crop top above and it's also really versatile. It would look nice with plenty of tops, sandals, wedges etc - if I didn't have a few outfits in mind, I wouldn't have paid this much!
Price: £24.99

I hope you enjoy these type of posts; it's probably easier making a YouTube video when doing a haul, as you can hold each item up close - it's harder taking photos of everything!

Happy Mother's Day! Hope everyone has a nice day:-)

Sweet Spring/Summer Scent

I woke up this morning and I found that I had reached 500 followers on Bloglovin! That's absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful to everybody who has taken the time to read my blog.

I thought I would do a Spring themed post today, as the weather has suddenly started to feel more Spring-like. The sun is out! Hurray! I like to wear a sweet scent in the warmer months, as there's just something about the fruity smell that lifts my mood and reminds me of Summer. I love wearing DKNY Be Delicious as the perfume consists of apples, a blend of exotic flowers and sensual woods. I like the design of the bottle, as it resembles a juicy apple - mmm!

This perfume is extremely popular, as it's such a refreshing scent. The thing that I love about perfume is that as soon as you spray it, you are instantly taken back to a time when you once wore it and it can help you relive memories that come with the scent. For instance, I last wore this perfume in the Summer, so whenever I get a whiff of it, I have memories of my holiday and the lovely warm weather.

You can see me in the last photo in the reflection as the lid is like a little mirror hehe!

If you're looking for a sweet, fruity fragrance this season, maybe try this out in Boots if you haven't already!

What's your favourite Spring/Summer perfume?
