Autumn College OOTD: Ft. CelebLook*

T-Shirt, Jeans & Bag: H&M
Scarf & Shoes: Primark
Cardigan: CelebLook

I recently got the opportunity to pick something off of www.celeblook.co.uk to review and now that it's getting colder, I decided to pick something thick and warm as I know that I'll wear it often these next few months. I incorporated it into this outfit of the day that I wore for college, alongside a plain white T, a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a black leather bag from H&M. I also wore a cream scarf and my new black suede boots from Primark; I went for quite a plain, casual look as the cardigan's bold aztec print is the main focus of the outfit.

I love thick woolly knits in the autumn and winter time, as they're so cosy and manage to keep you snuggled up and warm throughout the day. I love the bold print on this cardigan and the neutral colours, which means it will go with a lot of outfits. It's really thick and loose, which means you don't have to worry when ordering online about the sizing.

On CelebLook, the sizing isn't that specific; most of their clothes range from small to large but they also have a plus size range too, meaning there are clothes to fit everybody! The clothes are reasonably priced and there a whole load to choose from; from pretty dresses to winter coats ready for the upcoming season.

A lot of their clothes are celebrity inspired (hence the name) and their autumn selection is jam-packed with oversized parkas, chunky knits and faux fur coats!

LYDC Bag Review*

BUY IT HERE:

I recently received the Axl Metallic Messenger Bag by Anna Smith in Black from LYDC. It's new for this year's summer collection and it's a very good quality bag. At £32.00, it supplies plenty of room if you were to use it for school or college and has plenty of compartments available (for pens, girly things and makeup!) There are two slip pockets at the front and a large pocket on the back. There's also two slip pockets inside the bag, another large zip pocket inside and a zip at the top of the bag, so it offers more security instead of just having the metallic flap fastened by a clasp.

The strap is adjustable and there's also a handle at the top, so there's a variety of ways in which you can choose to carry it. When I was choosing a bag, I had no idea that it had a metallic flap (even though it says in the title - what can I say, I'm not very observant!) The photo on the website made it look like it was a nude leather material, but in reality the bag has a rose gold coloured metallic flap, so the photos don't do the bag justice as it wasn't captured in the photography on the website. The metallic flap also means it can scratch easily too, but the choice of different types of bags shows there are plenty to choose from and you can decide the best bag for you!

There may be (if possible) every style bag to choose from and bags suitable for different occasions. Take a look at their website here: http://www.lydc.co.uk/

I've put together five of my favourite bags from their website below:

What's In My Clutch Bag?

I've seen a few of these type of posts floating around, so I thought I would be a sheep and post my own. I don't know about you, but I find carrying a bag on a night out very annoying, especially if you have to hold it by hand. They get in the way, you can very easily leave it on the bar and it's a nuisance whilst you're dancing. However, we have to find somewhere to keep all of our vital items that we will most likely need, so a bag is pretty necessary!

The main things I bring on a typical night out are:

I.D

This is something you definitely need if you're under 25 (or if you find that you get asked for your I.D a lot!) It's unlikely that you'll get anywhere without it! You need to be able to prove your age and show that you're old enough to drink, so make sure you have it before you leave the house otherwise you may end up being turned away.

Money

Well you won't get far without it! By the way, do you like my cute, leather mouse purse?! My grandad bought me it when I was little and I find that it's really handy on a night out, as it's small and fits in my bag easily. I tend to fold up each pound note separately, so I can find the right amount I need later on (and it also helps you not lose any, as I probably would if they were all folded up together!) I also make sure to throw a few pound coins in there, as you might need change for the taxi if you're planning on splitting it with a couple of friends.

Phone

Of course you need your phone! In this day and age, who doesn't go anywhere without it?! Taking snaps for Instagram, phoning for a taxi and texting your friends if you can't find them is what I mainly use my phone for on a night out (and also texting my mum when I'm on my way home, so she can stop worrying!)

Hairbrush & Makeup

You may take regular toilet breaks when you're out, so bringing a small brush with you is useful as you may want to fix your hair. I also bring bits of makeup, as it won't last on my face throughout the night. I like to bring powder to reduce the shine and cover the oil around my T-zone, my lipstick to reapply and also some Vaseline as my lips get very dry after a while.

Keys

It's good to bring your house key out with you, as when you get home your parents will most likely be in bed! This way, you hardly disturb them and you can hurry and get to bed as soon as you get in!

So they're the main necessities I bring with me in my clutch bag and I usually end up using them all!

Is there anything else you bring with you that you couldn't leave the house without?

What's In My Makeup Bag (Everyday)

Helllooo!

Okay, so I've decided to do a post about my everyday makeup. It's nothing extravagant; I try and stick to a natural look as I don't want to look like a completely different person when wearing makeup. I'm hoping to do some Christmassy posts within the next couple of weeks. I'm still trying to find decent lighting in my house, as I want my photos to be good quality. But for now, this will have to do until I find a good spot. So, let's get into it!

After moisturising, I apply my L'Oréal Infallible Long-Lasting Perfecting Foundation in the shade 'Porcelain'. I love this foundation; it's creamy and blends in well. I then apply either my ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer in the shade 'Porcelain' or my No7 Quick Cover Blemish Stick in the shade 'Fair', depending on what my skin is like that day. I find that with the blemish stick, it can clog up easily, especially if you have a dry patch of skin. The liquid concealer by ELF glides on easily and is good coverage.

My eyebrows are a tricky one; they are quite thick so I don't tend to fill them in all the time, it just depends on how they look that day. If I do decide to fill them in, I use No7 Beautiful Brows Pencil in shade 'Blonde'. It comes with a brush on the end as well, which is useful!

I then use a powder as I have quite oily skin; I tend to use Pressed Powder in the shade 'Neutral' by 17; it helps 'set' my makeup and makes my face look more matte, which hides the shine. I keep applying this powder throughout the day over my nose and forehead to help keep the shine to a minimum.

Seeing as I'm reallly pale (as you can probably tell by the amount of products in 'Porcelain' haha) I brush bronzing powder across my cheekbones, forehead, nose, chin and neck... everywhere really; just get it on!;) I use Shimmering Glow Powder by Collection 2000 in the shade 'Sunkissed'. I love that it has a slight shimmer to it, so that my face isn't completely matte.

I use Collection 2000 Kohl Eye Liner Pencil in 'Black' along my waterline; I try and accentuate my eyes the most as that is where I feel I need makeup, as my eyelashes are blonde. I feel naked without eyeliner and mascara!!

After curling my lashes with my No7 Lift And Curve Eyelash Curler I apply No7 Stay Perfect Mascara in 'Black'. This is one of the best mascaras I have stumbled across. I was looking for a good mascara for a while as every one that I had tried would end up rubbing off under my eye throughout the day and I was constantly having to blot it off! However, this mascara stays put all day, so I really recommend this!

I finish off with the ELF Therapeutic Lip Balm in 'Strawberry Creme' as it's really moisturising, especially now that my lips are dry because of the cold weather :(. I usually apply lipstick after, but I change it up everyday depending on my mood!
