Wanted: Winter Boots

It's that time of year again - welcome to my cold feet, winter boots! I love a good pair of boots, they're so cosy and there's so many out there that you can find to go with plenty of outfits! I like to have a pair of boots with a good grip on the bottom, perfect for when the paths start getting icy. It's also nice to have a pair that look classy and are great to go shopping in. And then there's the everyday type of boot - casual and pretty-looking!

1. H&M Knee-High Boots - £34.99
I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them and they have to be one of my favourite pairs that I picked out! They're suede and have a zip at the side; they look really sophisticated!

2. Boohoo Whitney Suedette Pointed Block Chelsea Boot - £28.00
These plain casual boots are perfect for wearing everyday and would go with a variety of outfits. I'd probably wear these for college; they look comfy and I like the little added heel.

3. New Look Tan Faux Fur Lined Cross Strap Boots - £19.99
Ideally, I'd wear these in the snow as they're really similar to Ugg boots (and Ugg boots are the only shoes that keep my feet warm in the snow - wellies are awful!) I love boots that are lined with soft fur on the inside; they're incredibly comfy - and cute!

4. New Look Tan Faux Shearling Cuff Lace Up Block Heel Boots - £29.99
Another favourite pair that I picked out. I can't stop looking at these, they're absolutely stunning! If you have these, I'm incredibly jealous haha! I love the fact that they're lace up and have a fur cuff; you can also get these in black! I don't normally like wearing a heel during the day (even a small one) but I know that boots with a heel have become popular to wear these days - so I could possibly brave these for college!

5. H&M Ankle Boots - £29.99
Another pair with fur lining. I love tanned boots lately and these look incredibly comfy! They're similar to the second pair, but these look like they have more of a grip on the bottom, which is ideal for snow. They're also quite stretchy, so easy to just slip on.

6. New Look Black Leather Buckle Trim High Leg Boots - £64.99
Another classy pair that are incredibly attractive! Even though they're quite pricey (sadly because they're real leather) they drew me in straight away. I think every girl wants a pair of gorgeous black boots - but at the moment I can only dream haha!

It pains me to say that I probably won't be buying all of these, but a girl can dream! Maybe if I win the lottery or something ;)

Will you be investing in a new pair of winter boots?

Wish List: Wanted For Summer

There are a few luxuries I've spotted recently that I'd love to get my hands on this Summer, so I've included a few in a somewhat small wish list that I thought I'd post for today.

1. Large Yankee Candle "Clean Cotton" - £14.99
This is one of my favourite scents from Yankee Candle and I'd love to own the large version of it. I love the 'fresh' smell, which would be lovely to have in my room. The smell of the washing drying outside is a scent that I love and it has a special 'Summer' feel about it, ahh!

2. L'Oréal Nude Magique Blur Cream - £9.99
I've seen quite a few bloggers rave about this product recently and if you've been reading my posts, you'll know that I've swapped my foundation for a much lighter coverage; BB cream! I've heard that this could even be as good as Benefit's Big Easy (which is the cheaper alternative I've been looking for!)

3. The Body Shop "White Musk" Eau De Parfum - £13.00
I asked my friend the other day what perfume she was wearing because I loved it! She said it was this one, so we went into The Body Shop and had a look round the different fragrances. The range of fruity, floral perfumes that are lined up on the shelves makes it nearly impossible to choose just one. I think I'll be buying a few of these very soon (or ask for them for my birthday hehe!)

4. Large Yankee Candle "Pink Sands" - £19.49
Another Yankee Candle! This one smells so sweet and has a 'beachy' smell about it, which is why it's in my Summer wish list! I only ever see Yankee Candles now and again (usually in House Of Fraser or little boutique-type shops!) This would make the perfect gift for a friend's birthday if it's in the middle of Summer!

What's on your Summer wish list?

Wish List: Holiday Shoes

I tend to buy a new pair of flip flops every year, which I'm sure most people do as they seem to wear out pretty quickly after hours of walking and getting them soaked in the sea. It isn't much of a problem though, as they're fairly cheap so easy to afford! Not only am I a big fan of flip flops, but sandals are also really pretty! So I've picked out an array of shoes that I can't resist not sharing with you!

1. Sweet Pea Toe Post Sandals, £26.00 - Oasis
I love the way these flip flops look really simple and elegant, especially with the added flowers on the outer edge, which stand out and make them look really girly. The fact that they're black shows that they'll go with pretty much anything as well, which is always a bonus!

2. Tan Colour Block Ankle Strap Wedges, £17.99 - New Look
I love these and they'd be perfect to wear when going for an evening meal paired with a pretty dress. The coral strap going across the foot adds a bit of colour, perfect for wearing on Summer nights.

3. Tan Double Ankle Strap Plaque T-Bar Sandals, £24.99 - New Look
I love a bit of gold (who doesn't?!) and these would look gorgeous with a maxi dress. These will instantly dress up an outfit and the double straps around the ankle will help actually keep your shoe on, unlike flip flops that have a tendency to fly off if you take a 'vigorous' step!

4. White Leather Look Embellished Twist T-Bar Sandals, £19.99 - New Look
Alternatively to the previous gold plated shoes, these have a silver design which will go with most outfits. I love these type of sandals, as they really draw attention to your shoes. Really pretty - I need these!

5. Leather Strap Sandals, £28.00 - Next
These have a slight gladiator-esque feel to them and they'd look great with a pair of denim shorts. The added extra studs don't make them too plain, which I like as I hate buying a 'boring' shoe -they need something about them!

6. Asymmetric Sandals, £18.00 - Next
Similar to the previous ones, but these are probably the most plain pair that I picked out. However, I really love the colour and you can always paint your toenails to make the shoes appear more 'bright'.

I'm really looking forward to Summer and I can't wait until it's warm enough to be wearing these type of shoes!

What's your favourite Summer shoe? What kind of design is your favourite?

Wish List: Spring Fashion

Spring clothes usually arrive onto the high street in the middle of Winter, but I'm still buying Winter clothes then, let alone thinking about Spring! I like to buy the current season's clothes when it's the actual season, so here are a few Spring items that I have my eye on!

1. Grey Mon Chéri Colour Block Sweater - New Look: £14.99

I like wearing a baggy top now and again, especially when it's quite cool outside. You could wear it over a vest top, so you can take it off if you get too hot. I like the way they look laidback and casual and the pastel colours are perfect for Spring!

2. Black Spot Print Pencil Skirt - New Look: £14.99

I love the old-fashioned style of this skirt; the print and the length. This would make for a perfect Spring day time outfit, if you teamed it with a cropped top and sandals. It's figure-hugging and it would look great on holiday!

3. Light Blue Knitted Crop Top - New Look: £14.99

I love the colour of this and I would probably wear it with jeans. It's knitted, so you're not going to be too cold; perfect for Spring weather! You can also get the pink version of this if you aren't keen on the blue, but I prefer wearing blues in comparison to pinks.

4. Light Blue Textured Floral Skater Dress - New Look: £19.99

How cute is this! It's just perfect for day time! It's so girly and it would look great with a pair of sandals or pumps. The design along with the colours would probably suit pretty much anyone. It's sadly out of stock at the moment, noooo! I'll have to keep checking to see when it's back in stock, as I don't want to endure Spring without it!

5. Super Stretch Trousers, Black & White Stripes - H&M: £14.99

I've always wanted some patterned trousers, but I've always struggled with what I would wear with them. However, these are a simple black and white striped pattern, so there are lots of choices as to what you could team them with. I would wear either a cropped tee or a collared top tucked in. You could also wear these on the night time, if you paired them with heels or wedges.

6. Figure-fit Jacket, White - H&M: £14.99

Blazers can do wonders to an outfit. You could wear it on a night time or during the day, as it makes for a lovely Spring jacket. Blazers can look quite dressy, if teamed with heels and a clutch bag. But they can also look casual, if teamed with pumps and a pretty playsuit; very versatile, which is what I love!

7. Grey Jersey Strappy Midi Dress - New Look: £14.99

You can also get this in black, but I prefer the grey one as I can picture what I would wear it with. I like wearing casual day time dresses in Spring, as they can look really feminine and pretty. I would wear this with strappy sandals and a bright coloured bag.

8. Denim Shirt - H&M: £19.99

Everyone loves a good denim shirt, don't they?! Denim shirts are just perfect for Spring and Summer! You can wear them with a patterned high-waisted skirt, black trousers or even leggings - great for day time.

9. Court Shoes, Powder Pink - H&M: £24.99

These nude heels really caught my eye as they look classy and elegant, definitely ideal for a night time look! I'm sure I would find plenty of outfits to go with these, once I go Spring shopping.

10. Fashion Skinny Scarf - New Look

I only picked one scarf to include but there are a whole range to choose from. I love these thin pretty, patterned scarves as they are a great accessory to add to any Spring outfit!

The reason I haven't included any Spring bags is because I will probably go into Primark and find a much cheaper alternative. It's the same with shoes and accessories - Primark is much more affordable and you can stock up on lots of cheaper, pretty things!

What's going to be your favourite type of outfit/accessory this Spring?

Wish List: Eye Candy

I thought I would put together a collection of beauty items that have caught my eye these past few weeks. Some of the items I have wanted for a while and others I have seen many raving reviews about.

1. ELF Baked Eyeshadow Palette, California
I wanted to get this palette last Summer, but when I went to order it had sadly sold out. Now that it's back in stock, I will be sure to order this soon. I love the warm tones, honey shades and sandy colours as they're the type of shadows I like.

2. Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl
Now this is very popular and I'm yet to purchase it as it's quite expensive. The way in which it works fascinates me, as it grabs the hair and sucks it into the machine (sounds scary I know, but your hair looks amazing afterwards!) Plus, it beeps when your hair is ready, which is useful as I never know how long to keep my hair wrapped around a curling iron.

3. Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer
Again, I've seen many reviews about these and after testing them in Boots, I'm definitely going to buy these soon. The colours are as intense as a lipstick, but it also has a creamy texture and gives a shine to your lips; I can't wait to buy these!

4. Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm
I like the idea of using this on a night out, as it would be quick to apply and apparently it leaves your lips feeling moisturised, which I can't wait to try. I will definitely be buying this in a variety of shades as soon as!

5. Vanity Mirror
My sister has one of these mirrors in her bedroom and I'm constantly asking to borrow it! I need a smaller mirror for my room to fit on my desk so this would be perfect for me! Plus it looks pretty and elegant, hehe!

6. L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection 15 Second Miracle Cleansing Oil
Lonnnng title haha! I've heard great things about this also! I really like the Skin Perfection range and I'm hoping to try more products from there, so I will be buying this! Since using the Purifying Micellar Solution, it has really benefitted my skin, so hopefully the Cleansing Oil will be just as good.

What's your favourite drugstore lip product at the moment; what do you think about the Rimmel Apocalips?
